In this module, you will tour the Reports Overview dashboard and learn about the different components of that dashboard.

After completing this module, you should be able to:

  • Access the Overview dashboard in your ODP instance

  • Identify the difference between Horizon Metrics and Impact Metrics

  • Describe the purpose of each Overview report component

What is it? / Why use it?

The Company Overview report is the first screen you are brought to when you log in to your Optimizely Data Platform (ODP) account. This report shows key performance indicators with two metrics that identify opportunities for improvement and move your business forward:

  • Horizon Metrics – Metrics that drive a business.
  • Impact Metrics – Metrics that have a significant impact on the Horizon Metrics.

Helpful definitions

  • Active – Customers who have engaged with content across multiple communication channels, excluding email and push-send events.
  • Churned – Customers who had been inactive for 30 days but made a purchase before becoming inactive.
  • Identified – Customers who are actively identifiable by a customer ID or email address, excluding anonymous visitors.
