Exam Prep session: CMS 12 (Fundamentals)

The CMS 12 exam prep fundamentals session will cover basic developer topics and skills needed to create and deploy the product as well as prepare for the certification exam. The goal of these exam prep sessions is to provide attendees with focal points of knowledge to study, these are not intended as a starting point for learning the product. The format of the session will be instructor led PowerPoint presentation with links to specific documentation combined with live demonstrations of key knowledge areas.

Some of the key knowledge areas covered in the fundamental’s session include the following:

• Setup and configuration
• Users, groups and permissions
• Localization and Globalization
• Defining content types
• Rendering and UI customization
• Managing assets

Session Prerequisites

Attendees must have completed the eLearning CMS 12 fundamentals course or have equivalent experience
