What is Impact Analysis?

Impact Analysis allows you to measure how a change—such as a feature release, campaign, or experiment—affects specific user behaviors or key metrics. It helps you evaluate whether an intervention had a positive, negative, or no measurable impact across selected cohorts or event streams. What you can do with Impact Analysis

  • Build an Impact Analysis: Set a start date, define target and control groups, and select metrics or events you want to measure. This helps you assess the effect of a product change or experiment with minimal setup. Step-by-step instructions are available here: Build an Impact Analysis

  • Interpret the Results: Understand whether the impact was statistically significant, and examine the lift, confidence intervals, and p-values to draw valid conclusions. Learn how to analyze the results in depth: Understand Your Impact Analysis
