Welcome
Collaboration in Optimizely Analytics is seamless and secure—whether you're working with dashboards, explorations, or tiles. With built-in sharing and commenting features, you can easily give team members access to important insights and foster real-time feedback directly within the workspace.
By the end of this module, you’ll be able to:
Understand how to share dashboards and objects with users or groups.
Manage access levels and permissions for different collaborators.
View who currently has access to a given object.
Collaborate with your team using comments and mentions.
Sharing Objects in Optimizely Analytics
If you have "Can Edit" access to a dashboard or object, you also have the share privilege, which lets you invite others to collaborate. To share an object:
Click the "Share" icon at the top-right of the dashboard or tile.
In the dialog box, enter the name of the user or group you want to share with.
Choose the appropriate access level (View, Edit).
Click Invite to send access.
After sharing, you’ll see a list of everyone who has access and what level they have. You can also remove access when needed.
Collaborate with Comments
You can comment on tiles, dashboards, and explorations to add context or discuss findings with your team. To post a comment:
Click the "Comment" icon in the top-right corner.
Type your message and click Send.
To mention someone, type @ and select a teammate from the list. They’ll be notified directly.
This makes it easy to start discussions, ask questions, or leave feedback—right where the data lives.
