You’ll become familiar with how to find tools, access content, preview changes, and customize your workspace for smoother editing.
After completing this module, you should be able to:
Describe the main layout of the CMS UI, including panels (left & right), toolbar, and navigation bar
Identify and use key interface elements: Dashboard, Reports, Audiences, Settings, Add-ons/Gadgets
Navigate the page tree, tasks, and project items via the content tree
Use the assets panel to access media and blocks, and perform drag-and-drop operations
Customize your interface for your editing needs
User Interface
Optimizely CMS editing interface is designed for intuitive content creation and management. At the top, the toolbar and top menu provide quick access to editing tools like preview, version history, and publishing.
On the left, the Navigation panel displays the site’s page hierarchy, language versions, and tasks. On the right, the Assets panel contains your media and content blocks, which can be dragged directly into the page.
