Optimizely Community Roundtable - EP 1 | Part 1: Post-Implementation & Adoption
Outline
In this first episode of the Optimizely Community Strategy Roundtable, members of the OMVP Strategy Community take on a core question: what does post implementation adoption really mean, and why does it matter so much for customer and business outcomes?
Dom Graveson, Lori McDonald, Janaka Fernando, Kashif Hasan unpack adoption from both a client and partner perspective. They discuss how to define adoption as measurable behaviour change, why editors should be seen as a primary customer of the CMS, and how weak adoption can lead to licence churn, stalled roadmaps and “why did we invest in this?” conversations a few years after go live. The group also explores the tension between focusing on end customers versus internal users, and how buyer maturity and expectations shape what happens after launch.
This is our first of many Optimizely Strategy Roundtables, a new OMVP-led content series focused on the human, strategic, and organisational side of Optimizely implementations. Due to the length of the conversation, this episode is split into two parts. To get the full context of the episode, ensure you watch Part 2 as well.
