App Directory
Outline
Welcome
In this module, you will learn about App Directory under Data Setup and a brief overview on Optimizely Connect Platform (OCP).
After completing this module, you should be able to:
Define what is Optimizely Connect Platform
Understand how to use App Directory for integration
What is Optimizely Connect Platform?
Optimizely Connect Platform (OCP) lets you connect and sync data between external systems and Optimizely products, including between two Optimizely products themselves. OCP enables developers to create point and click integrations with the Optimizely Data Platform. OCP leverages the popular TypeScript language and provides a serverless environment for hosting code, tools for data transformation, scheduled/recurring jobs and webhooks. OCP also includes elements to build app settings interfaces (e.g. authorization, toggles/buttons/dropdowns, and field mappings). Other benefits of OCP include easy app lifecycle management (install/uninstall etc.), app visibility management (public, private), and release management (dev, beta, production).
What is App Directory?
The App Directory contains dozens of pre-built integrations for ODP. You can use these integrations to connect various third-party applications and data sources to ODP. It allows you to publish your developed apps, making them either publicly available to Optimizely customers or keeping them private.
You can go through the documentation for detailed integration guides on setup and configuration for different apps:
